Wedding Planning/Coordination Packages


Wedding Day Management

Your wedding is an opportunity for you to share your love story and the things you love most with your friends and family. It’s an opportunity for you to take your personality and the characteristics that define and comfort you and create something uniquely special for those who will share it with you.

You’ve spent months, in some cases a year or longer, planning for this day. Let JDV Events execute what you have been planning for all this time. Let us take the stresses of your special day away, so you, your family and friends can enjoy every moment. We will oversee all the intricate details while you enjoy the single most important day in your life.

By choosing JDV Events to coordinate your special day, you will have

  • One Wedding Planners certified by the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada

  • At least one assistant coordinator

  • An initial meeting at no cost to you, at a mutually convenient location

  • One planning meeting prior to the rehearsal, preferably at the reception venue (normally 2 hrs)

  • Reviewing all vendor contract if you desire

  • Unlimited communication from when you contract our services until your wedding day

  • Contacting all vendors to co-ordinate set up/take down etc

  • Supervision and Direction of Wedding Rehearsal

  • Supervision and Execution of Ceremony & Reception set up

  • On site direction of the Wedding Ceremony and Reception

  • Supervision of Photo session

  • We will arrive when needed and leave after everything is finished

  • Access for you and your guests to our emergency bag, because we are prepared for most situations!


This package starts at $1,150 +hst. Pricing depends on the amount of guests and location of your ceremony/reception.


Full Wedding Planning

This package is designed for your ultimate stress free experience, so you can relax and have the wedding of your dreams.

  • Budget preparation, allocation and management

  • Vendor recommendations and assistance in the selection of vendors in the areas of: Venue, DJ, Band, Entertainment, Musicians, Ceremony Officiants, Flowers, Décor, Photography, Invitations, Wedding Stationary, Transportation, Favors, Cake, Videography, Hair and Make-up etc

  • Attending all vendor appointments, in the above areas

  • A site visit to your reception venue to go over details and further discuss costs, timelines and needs with venue representatives (Sometimes done during your tasting)

  • Reviewing all vendor contracts.

  • Preparing and maintaining a wedding planning schedule for the months between now and the wedding with regularly scheduled meetings

  • Unlimited email communication throughout the planning

  • Full development of the wedding theme you have chosen

  • Handling follow-ups with all vendors

  • Attending appointment with clergy in discussing actual ceremony, if desired

  • Supervision of Wedding rehearsal

  • Supervision of ceremony and reception set up

  • On site direction of wedding ceremony with services typically beginning 1 hour before the start of the ceremony when ceremony is held off site, earlier in the day

  • Supervision of wedding photo session following ceremony

  • On site direction of wedding reception

 This package starts from $2900 +hst

This is a lot of work! The average bride spends 15 hours a week on wedding related tasks and that is if they have 9-12 months of planning time. Wow I hear you say! Obviously, it does vary depending on what you want for your wedding. If you do not know where to start, or you know, but you do not have the time, then this is the package for you. We will do all the research for you and then organize all the meetings for you to attend and help you make an informed decision about each vendor you hire. That will save loads of time! 

Can we save you money too? Absolutely! We do get discounts with some preferred vendors, or we can get more included in the price agreed with a vendor. For example, a wedding photographer may upgrade their package from 8 to 10 hours with no extra cost, or a decorator may include the cake table and receiving table draping in with the price of the backdrop. Or the DJ may give a 10% discount. We DO NOT receive any commission from any wedding vendor. We contact the BEST vendors for our clients, not what we can get out of it. Our clients are our priority.
